Table columns:

  • Room - Selected rooms are displayed in the Preview panel and enables the Settings controls.
  • Contour - A drop down list is provided in this column to select calculations for the selected room. Also included is an option "No contour" that disables contours for the selected room and calculation.
Preview Displays the selected room and contours, and previews the changes made with the Settings controls.
  • Minimum - Displays the minimum amount of daylighting illuminance per area in the selected room.
  • Average - Displays the average amount of daylighting illuminance per area in the selected room.
  • Maximum - Displays the maximum amount of daylighting illuminance per area in the selected room.
Settings Contains controls used to manipulate contours for selected rooms and daylighting calculations, and are applied in the Preview.
  • Auto scale - When on, the tool calculates the maximum and minimum values (from the point grid) for each room and scales the contour lines automatically. When off, the calculation uses the values as entered in the list.
  • Link room scale - When on, the tool determines the maximum and minimum values for all the rooms, ensuring all rooms use the same scale. Enabled when Auto scale is activated.

    For instance:

    • Room 1 : Min value =5 max value = 65
    • Room 2 : Min value = 25 max value = 90

If the values are entered in the table range from 10 to 120, then the contour lines will be placed at these values:
